In May, the Abound Dream Squad helped client Ty achieve his wish of going to the Kentucky Derby. Ty is nonverbal and his love of horses has allowed him to find comfort and strength in his experience. Ty was able to fly on a private jet and enjoy a VIP experience at the Derby. A special thank you to our Dream Squad for making this possible!

Dream on 3: Empowering Clients Through Sports
Dream on 3 exists to enrich the lives of our clients with disabilities by making their sports dreams come true. The program implements the principles of sports and teamwork to bring to various dreamers.
There is something magical and captivating about sports. They have the ability to bring people together and create a sense of community. They also have the power to inspire and provide hope. This is especially true for children and young adults who are facing life-altering conditions. They can feel like they belong to something larger than themselves, and know that they are not alone in their experience.
This is the essence of Dream on 3 – to use sport as a way to brighten the lives of children and young adults with disabilities. By bringing them together and giving them a place to belong, we hope to empower them in their experience.
Dream on 3 participants, ages 5-21, are identified through a referral process established with the Abound Dream Team. Once a client is identified, our team engages in a multi-step interview process to determine if they are a good fit for a sports experience. Once approved, our team plans an unforgettable experience, tailored just for them.
At Abound, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the joys and benefits of sports. We are constantly inspired by our dreamers, who remind us every day why we do what we do.
