Abound Health Celebrates ADA Anniversary with Talent Show
July 26th marks the 32nd anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act. This landmark legislation has helped ensure that persons with disabilities have the same rights and opportunities as everyone else. The ADA has been instrumental in increasing access to employment, education, and public accommodations for people with disabilities. In celebration of the anniversary, we asked our clients to showcase their abilities in a virtual talent show!
Performances include a puppet show, singing, and clients performing various instruments. In the talent show, everyone has a chance to shine and feel empowered. Seeing each client beam with pride is a prime example of one of our core values: to celebrate what makes us different.
The ADA has helped countless people lead more fulfilling and independent lives, and we are proud to have played a part in that journey. As we celebrate this anniversary, let us continue to advocate for more inclusion and equality that are at the heart of the ADA.
This anniversary is a reminder of how far we’ve come, but also a reminder of how much work still needs to be done.
